โลเวอร์ออสเตรีย (Lower Austria)ดินแดนแห่งทั้งทุ่งสีเขียวอันกว้างใหญ่ไพศาล เป็นมณฑลที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของออสเตรีย มีความหลากหลายทางสภาพภูมิศาสตร์มากที่สุด ทั้งแนวภูเขาสลับกับทุ่งกว้าง

และอีกหนึ่งสถานที่ที่ไม่ควรพลาดเด็ดขาดคือ เวียนนาวู้ด : ป่าเวียนนาเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนยอดนิยมของชาวเวียนนา โดยเฉพาะในช่วงของวันหยุดถือว่าเป็นจุดนัดพบปะสังสรรค์กันในกลุ่มเพื่อนฝูง เวียนนาวู้ด เป็นเขตอยู่อาศัยที่มีเสน่ห์มีภูมิทัศน์หลายแบบจนเป็นที่น่าประทับใจของผู้มาเยือน ทางเหนือมีแม่น้ำดานูบไหลผ่าน ทางด้านหน้าคือประตูเมืองหลวงเวียนนา, ป่าไม้ผลัดใบปกคลุมทิวเขา และทางใต้เรียกกันว่า "เขตแธร์เม็น" ( เขตเทอร์มัล ) เป็นที่ตั้งเมืองสปาที่มีชื่อเสียงอย่าง บาเดน หรือ กัมโพลด์สเคียร์เช่น ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งผลิตไวน์มีชื่อด้วย

ซีโนเต้ แองเจลิสต้า (Cenote หรือ Cenote Angelita) หรือ ที่เราเรียกกันว่าแม่น้ำใต้ทะเล ดินแดนอันน่าพิศวง สถานที่ที่เหล่านักผจญภัยต่างก็อยากไปเยือนสักครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิต ซีโนเต้ แองเจลิสต้า ถือว่าเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางธรณีวิทยา ที่ช่วยสร้างระบบนิเวศอันน่าเหลือเชื่อของประเทศเม็กซิโกไปแล้ว และแน่นอนว่าสถานที่แห่งนี้กำลังเป็นที่น่าสนใจสำหรับนักดำน้ำมือระดับมืออาชีพ ที่ต้องการดำดิ่งไปชมความมหัศจรรย์ของแม่น้ำใต้ท้องทะเลแห่งนี้ สำหรับการที่จะชมความงดงามของสถานที่ที่ว่านั้นได้คุณอาจต้องดำน้ำลึกลงไป ประมาณ 30 เมตร บริเวณนี้คุณจะเจอกับน้ำที่เป็นน้ำจืด แต่ถ้าดำลึกลงไปถึง 60 เมตร คุณก็จะพบกับน้ำที่เป็นน้ำเค็ม

โดยวิวทิวทัศน์ด้านล่านั้นจะมองเห็นภาพที่เป็นเหมือนเป็นแม่น้ำที่มีทั้งต้นไม้และใบไม้ แต่มันไม่ใช่แม่น้ำจริงๆเพราะว่ามันเป็นชั้นของ ไฮโดรเจนซัลไฟด์ (H2S) ทำให้ดูคล้ายเป็นแม่น้ำที่ล่องลอยอยู่ใต้มหาสมุทรนั่นเอง ไฮโดรเจนซัลไฟด์ เป็นก๊าซที่ไม่มีสี แต่เป็นพิษ ติดไฟ และมีกลิ่นเหมือนไข่เน่า ก๊าซเหล่านี้สามารถเกิดขึ้นได้จากขบวนการทางชีวภาพเมื่อแบคทีเรียย่อยสลาย วัตถุอินทรีย์โดยไ่ม่ใช้อ๊อกซิเจน (anaerobic activity) ยกตัวอย่างเช่นในหนองน้ำ ในทะเล และในน้ำโสโครก ทั้งนี้ก๊าซดังกล่าวก็สามารถเกิดได้จากภูเขาไฟและก๊าซธรรมชาติด้วย

Sophie Marceau, née Sophie Danièle Sylvie Maupu le 17 novembre 1966 à Paris, est une actrice, réalisatrice, chanteuse française. Elle est la compagne de Christophe Lambert.

Biographie

Son père, Benoît est chauffeur routier et sa mère, Simone, travaille tour à tour dans un grand magasin parisien et dans une brasserie. Ses parents se séparent alors qu'elle n'a que neuf ans. Son frère Sylvain, de trois ans son aîné, est alors très proche d'elle.
Après un casting passé par hasard, elle obtient en 1980, à l'âge de 13 ans, le premier rôle du film culte de Claude Pinoteau, La Boum, qui semble traverser les frontières et les générations. Le personnage de Vic, adolescente romantique et rebelle, lui apporte une célébrité immédiate.
À l'âge de 16 ans, elle rachète son contrat d'exclusivité à Gaumont pour un million de francqu'elle emprunte. Elle est désormais libre de choisir ses films.
C'est en 1984, qu'elle est choisie par le réalisateur polonais Andrzej Żuławski, pour tenir le rôle de Mary dans le film L'Amour braque. De 26 ans son aîné, Andrzej Żuławski sera son mari dix-sept ans durant (ils sont aujourd'hui divorcés). Ils ont eu un fils ensemble : Vincent, né le 24 juillet 1995.
Avec sa forte personnalité, son franc-parler choque, en particulier lorsqu'elle critique le cinéma français. Sa réputation d'avoir un caractère « difficile» la fait délaisser par les producteurs français. Surtout, son manque de mystère et de désir artistique absolu, l'ont empêchée de devenir une véritable « star ». Elle s'expatrie à Hollywood.
En 1999 elle participe au film Le monde ne suffit pas où elle incarne Elecktra King, la fille de l'industriel Robert King. Elle aura alors une liaison avec le producteur Jim Lemley dont naitra une fille prénommée Juliette, née le 13 juin 2002. Ils se séparent en 2007, suite à son coup de foudre pour Christophe Lambert, rencontré sur le tournage du film la disparue de Deauville dont elle est la réalisatrice. Sur le plateau de Marc-Olivier Fogiel, le 22 mai 2007, Sophie Marceau reconnaît entretenir une relation avec l'acteur français. Elle affirmera néanmoins : « La presse a révélé notre liaison, mais nous deux, nous n'avons rien à vendre. Ce qui compte, c'est le film. ».

Carrière

Décrétée « actrice la plus aimée des Français » par plusieurs sondages dans les années 1990 ; ses nombreuses collaborations avec son mari de l'époque, Andrzej Żuławski, avaient révélé une autre facette de sa personnalité et lui avaient permis de faire quelques incursions remarquées dans le cinéma d'auteur, notamment dans Police (1985) de Maurice Pialat qui avait exigé de Gérard Depardieu qu'il lui inflige de vraies gifles dans une scène mémorable, ou encore Par-delà les nuages (1996) que Michelangelo Antonioni, impotent à l'époque à la suite d'un accident vasculaire cérébral, avait réalisé avec l'aide de son ami Wim Wenders.
Le travail de la comédienne avec Mel Gibson sur l'épopée guerrière Braveheart en 1996 lui ouvre en grand les portes d'Hollywood et marque le début d'une carrière internationale. Mais c'est sa prestation en James Bond girl dans Le Monde ne suffit pas de Michael Apted, où elle est la méchante principale du film, qui assure son statut de star internationale en 1999.
En 2002, elle passe à la réalisation avec Parlez-moi d'amour, fiction largement autobiographique auréolée du prix de la mise en scène du Festival de Montrél.
Parallèlement à sa carrière cinématographique Sophie Marceau publie en 1996 un roman, Menteuse, chante et peint. Elle est la marraine de l'association Arc-En-Ciel, dont la vocation est de réaliser les rêves d'enfants atteints de maladies graves. Elle s'occupe également de la protection des animaux. Fin 2009, Marceau sera à l'écran dans L'Homme de chevet, le premier long métrage d'Alain Monne aux côtés de son compagnon à la ville Christophe Lambert qu'elle a rencontré lors du tournage de son deuxième long métrage, La disparue de Deauville

Rencontres

En 1981, invitée avec Claude Pinoteau par le Festival de Cannes 1981, elle rencontre son futur mari, le réalisateur polonais Andrzej Żuławski au bord de la piscine de l'hôtel Majestic de Cannes[réf. nécessaire].
En 2009 la réalisatrice Marina de Van dans son film "Ne te retourne pas", réunit Sophie Marceau et Monica Bellucci. Elle explique ainsi sa démarche : "...réaliser... le portrait croisé de deux sex-symbols" .

Controverses

Deux chansons font référence aux seins de l'actrice :

Assez Assez de Julien Clerc (Faut des ronds, Faut des courbes [...] Et les seins de Sophie Marceau)
Il y a eu une polémique assez vive de la part de Sophie Marceau à propos de la chanson de Julien Clerc qui a failli aller jusqu'au procès. Elle a déclaré peu après, en mai 1998 : « J’ai été atrocement gênée par ce disque. Quand je l’ai reçu chez moi, je l’ai caché. J’avais peur que mon entourage tombe dessus. J’étais mal, comme si j’avais fait une bêtise. Comme si je montrais mes seins à la radio. Les seins, c’est intime, c’est érotique, sexuel, je me suis sentie dévêtue».
En mars 2008, elle est invitée par Patrick Poivre d'Arvor sur le plateau de TF1 afin de parler de son dernier film Les femmes de l'ombre. Mais elle décide de quitter les studios de la chaîne peu avant de passer sur le plateau, en apprenant que le leader d'extrême droite, Jean-Marie Le Pen, a été lui aussi invité par PPDA à la même émission. Il n'était nullement question d'un débat sur la Résistance entre les deux invités (ils devaient simplement se croiser sur le plateau). De son côté, Jean-Marie Le Pen a riposté en la qualifiant de « précieuse ridicule » du show-biz.

Annecdotes

Au Festival de Cannes 1999, alors qu'elle s'apprête à remettre la Palme d'Or aux frères Dardenne, Sophie Marceau qui improvise son intervention, se perd en un long discours, confus, embrouillé et incompréhensible, ce qui lui vaut d'être huée par une bonne partie de l'assistance et sèchement interrompue par la maîtresse de cérémonie Kristin Scott-Thomas. '. Sophie expliquera par la suite qu'elle avait été très bouleversée par la visite à l'hôpital pour enfants qu'elle avait faite juste avant la cérémonie. L'événement a longtemps entaché la carrière de l'actrice. Il a tellement fait sensation à l'époque que les Guignols de l'Info se sont empressés, le lundi suivant le dimanche de la cérémonie de clôture cannoise, de lui créer une marionnette alors qu'elle n'en avait habituellement pas. Maintes fois parodiée par l'émission, la star y a été associée à la figure de Doc Gynéco qui ne cessait de lui réclamer « encore un peu de sa fatigue »
En 2004, elle revient à Cannes et présente son premier film en tant que réalisatrice À ce soir. Elle apparaît aux photographes plus rayonnante que jamais, amincie et sexy dans un pantalon de cuir noir.
L'année suivante, alors qu'elle pose devant les photographes au bas des marches du palais, elle se fait remarquer malgré elle car la bretelle de sa robe tombe malencontreusement et laisse apparaître furtivement son sein

Meet the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel – the Singapore Flyer. It is a one-of-a-kind experience in Asia. Built over a three-story terminal building, Singapore Flyer is 150 metres in diameter, 165 metres in height and travels at 0.21m per second. Each of its 28 city-bus-sized air-conditioned capsules can carry up to 28 passengers and a complete rotation of the wheel takes approximately 30 minutes.
The panoramic views from the top are impressive – passengers can see the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park, Empress Place and even a glimpse of neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia. But there's more to the Singapore Flyer: experience many of its fine-dining locations, fun shopping opportunities and lifestyle venues including the Seafood Paradise @ Flyer (famous for its chili crab, butter crab, cereal prawns and drunken prawns) and a fish 'foot spa' where imported ‘garra rufa’ turkey fish 'pedicure' your feet.

G-Max Reverse Bungy
The most adrenalin-inducing activity in Singapore has got to be the G-Max Reverse Bungy, Singapore’s first ever bungy. Be launched skywards at 200km per hour to a height of 60 metres for approximately five minutes; the experience is not unlike being an astronaut in a rocket launch. Also for a few more dollars extra, riders can get a T-shirt and a DVD recording of themselves in action, taken by an on-board camera

Singapore Discovery Centre
Singapore Discover Centre is an 'edutainment' experience. A bus tour takes guests around an 88-hectare training ground for army, navy and air force officers at the SAFTI Military Institute.
At the Shooting Gallery, visitors can try out a computer-simulated shooting game using real rifles or alternatively try the Crossfire Paintball which is ideal for team-building exercises, with entertainment and educational possibilities. Enjoy the 3D iWERKS, a 344-seater world-class theatre, equipped with a five-storey high screen and excellent sound systems along with 2D and 3D viewing.

Chinese and Japanese Gardens
The Chinese and Japanese Gardens are off Yuan Ching Road, and adjoin Jurong Bird Park. Each garden covers 13.5 hectares. The Chinese Garden, which occupies the island on Jurong Lake, is done in the classical Northern Chinese Imperial style.
Stroll around the Chinese Garden and take in the majestic stone lions at the entrance, the stoneboat, the towering pagodas and the statue of Confucius. Marvel at the rockeries in the Garden of Romance and breathe in the smell of the culinary and medicinal herbs in the Herb Garden. The most interesting section of the Chinese Gardens is the Suzhou-styled penjing, or bonsai, garden. This section houses some 2,000 pots of penjing and is a must for bonsai buffs.
Across the Double Beauty Bridge are the Japanese Gardens, which are more minimalist in style. You'll find serene gardens, zig-zag bridges, pebbled pathways, stone lanterns and traditional summer houses here.

Haw Par Villa
Also known as the Tiger Balm Gardens Haw Par Villa is a theme park built around the heroes and legends of Chinese mythology. The park, built with the fortunes made by the Au brothers from the medicinal cure-all Tiger Balm, features a collection of vivid plaster and concrete figures.
These figures depict the stories of the famous Monkey God, as he makes his Journey to the West; the tragic love story of Lady White Snake; the Divine Maiden, a symbol of love and sacrifice; and the fearless hero Wu Song. There's also the grandiose Nine Dragon Wall and statues of the Laughing Buddha and the gods of Happiness, Wealth and Longevity.
But the piece de resistance of Haw Par Villa is undoubtedly the Ten Courts of Hell, which depict the various punishments suffered by men and women for sloth, indulgence, gambling, drinking and adultery. New additions to Haw Par Villa include a roller-coaster boat ride, and multimedia performances of Chinese legends and myths.

Singapore's nightlife is truly wild! The Singapore Night Safari offers an unusual glimpse into the nocturnal animal kingdom, with more than 59 exhibits and 1,000 animals to be seen. Take a trip around the world via walking trails and trams that connect eight geographical regions. See exotic and often endangered species such as the Himalayan griffon vulture, greater one-horned rhinoceros, wildebeests, gazelles, giant anteater and the gaur (wild cattle) of Burma.
Start with the Creatures of the Night Show for a good 20-minute overview of the animals to be seen here (show times 19:30, 20:30, 21:30 and, on weekends and holidays, 22:30), then move on to the Himalayan Foothills via tram to see bharal, Himalayan tahr, mouflon and markhor traversing the rugged terrain. Next, the tram heads to the Neplaese River Valley, featuring a large sambar (deer) habitat as well as golden jackals, pelicans and the greater one-horned rhino. Going across the Indian Subcontinent, look for the sloth bear, striped hyena, barasingha and Gir lion.
Further along is Equatorial Africa with its giraffes, lions, servals and bongals in a landscape resembling the great savannah grasslands. The diverse habitat of the Indo-Malayan Region has Malayan tigers and babirusas, while the Asian Reverine Forest features tapirs and elephants. Next, see the giant anteater and the capybara, or water hog, the largest living rodent, in the South American Pampas area, followed by a trip toe the Burmese Hillside for glimpses of big wild gaurs and thamins, or Burmese Eld's deer

Sentosa Island, which is hugely popular with both locals and tourists alike, is Singapore's mega theme-park on an island. The offshore island of Sentosa, once the domain of tropical forest and rocky coasts, has been redeveloped into a sprawling amusement park where you can swim, sunbathe, whizz down water slides, visit butterfly parks and wax museums, and eat to your heart's content.
Sentosa will take at least one whole day if you want to visit the various amusement sites. It's also a great place to stay overnight, to soak in the beach holiday mood and be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are camping grounds, a hostel and two luxury resorts, The Sentosa and the Shangri-La Sentosa Resort.

Going to Sentosa Island is all part of the fun if you go there by cable-car or ferry. The cable-car service is from the World Trade Centre, and you will get a good bird's eye view of Mount Faber, one of Singapore highest points, during the ride.
For SG$120, you can also experience a romantic "sky" dinner for two aboard the cable car on Friday and Saturday nights. Ferry rides, another enjoyable way to get to Sentosa, are also available from the World Trade Centre.
Alternatively, you could take one of the special buses running to-and-fro the mainland and Sentosa. You can take Sentosa Bus Service E from Orchard Road, Service C from Tiong Bahru MRT, or Service A from the World Trade Centre. You can also drive into Sentosa after 18:30, though bare in mind that vehicles will have to leave the island before 15:00.

Admission to Sentosa Island is SG$ 6 for adults and SG$ 4 for children between 3 and 12 years. There will be separate charges for the various attractions on the island.
Once on the island, there's a free bus service that runs round the island and departs every 10 minutes. There's also a free monorail service that makes a loop round the island, and gives you a scenic view of Sentosa. Otherwise, you could rent a bike from the kiosk near the ferry terminal.

Sentosa's Underwater World
This famous oceanarium offers a collection of about 2,500 marine creatures from 250 species as well as a popular dolphin show. One of its highlights is the walk-through tunnel which makes one really feel like being underwater. Among the interesting marine life are colourful tropical fishes, sharks, dugongs, rays and giant crabs.
Everyone enjoys the zoo's dolphin show with its pink dolphins doing tricks (tail-flapping and 'talking'), and some lucky visitors even get to swim with them. All in all it's great experience that shouldn’t be missed. Another fun and different alternative at Underwater World is the Fish Reflexology. Have your feet nibbled/massaged by Turkish Garra rufa fish at Singapore's first fish reflexology spa located inside the Underwater World.


Songs of the Sea
Songs of the Sea is another entertainment choice on Sentosa Island. Here, visitors will enjoy an amazing nightly 25-minute light show with high tech and dramatic effects, special computer-generated images, captivating music and stunning bursts of flame as well as a wonderful display of water jets plus a good story line. This wonderful outdoor theme show is a fun way to spend time with family and friends

Sentosa Luge & Skyride
Discover another fun experience while at Sentosa such as the Skyride – an open-air cable-driven chairlift. Then try the luge which is a non-motorised, three-wheel carrier (aka self-driving car system) going down a steep hill. Visitors will enjoy the tree-top view of the nearby beaches before screaming at the top of their lungs as they lurch down the 650-metre track which starts near the Imbiah Lookout and ends at the Siloso Beach.
Before the ride sets off, all riders are informed about how to use and control the luge which is pretty easy as the gears come in the form of handles, enabling riders to have full control. At the end of the trip, riders can go to the photo centre to see their fun-ride images. The photos can be printed on the spot too. Remember to bring sunblock, especially on sunny days.

SINGAPORE

CHIJMES
A beautiful five-building gothic-style complex, CHIJMES (pronounced 'chimes') is one of the most popular dining, shopping and lifestyle venues in Singapore. Located on the grounds of a former convent school, CHIJMES reopened in 1997 after years of restoration. Nowadays the main chapel (aka Chijmes Hall) is used for musical and art performances as well as for wedding ceremonies.
CHIJMES is a modern hotspot and fun nightlife venue but many still like to stroll around these charming colonial buildings in the daytime to shop at the boutiques and to admire its beautiful design and architecture. Such items include beautiful stained-glass panels inside the Chijimes Hall and Caldwell House, (the oldest free-standing house in Singapore, now an art gallery) and the Gate of Hope (a small gate of the old convent where many unwanted babies were left to be cared for by the nuns).

Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay
Know by the locals as the Durian because of its spiky roofing, Esplanade is another premiere performing arts venue in Singapore. Esplanade features a 2,000-seat theatre, a 1,600-seat concert hall, two smaller studios, a mall as well as two outdoor theatres and is situated along the promenade. The two spiky looking domes are the large theatre and concert hall and have more than 7,000 pieces of aluminium roofing (resulting in the spiky effect which is supposed to look like microphones). Shows performed here include live music, dance and theatre.
The 8,000sqm Esplanade Mall is a mixture of retail outlets, restaurants and entertainment facilities housed over three levels. Esplanade is also used for lifestyle and arts-related events too. Another part to visit is the library@esplanade, on its third floor – Singapore's first performing arts public library. Library hours are from 11:00 – 21:00 daily) Located just by Marina Bay at the mouth of the Singapore River, it's a well-known meeting point for locals and offers lovely central-city views of the harbour. Also on many occasions live music is played between the Esplanade exit and the river.

Lau Pa Sat (aka Telok Ayer Market)
Built in 1894, Lau Pa Sat, once a wet market, is now a popular hawker centre. This historic building was built with Victorian filigree cast-iron and is located in the heart of Singapore's business area. At lunchtime it is full with office workers. At night, the street is closed and there are many food stalls serving plenty of local favourites such as charcoal-grilled satay (grilled beef, chicken or duck meat serve with peanut sauce), nasi goreng, roti prata, chicken wings and seafood barbecue. Vendors also circulate offering soft drinks, freshly-crushed sugar cane juice, homemade soya and beers. All in all Lau Pa Sat is really the largest supper venue in town.

Istana
Formerly known as Government House, Istana is where the Singaporean President's office is located. It was built from 1867 – 1869 by Sir Harry St George Ord, Singapore's first governor. Constructed in the neo-Palladian Anglo-Indian style, it has beautiful surroundings and landscaping including a 105mm Japanese cannon, a six-foot high statue of Queen Victoria hewn from Sicilian marble, four ponds and an old well. The Istana grounds are open to the public annually in celebration of the following occasions: Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Hari Raya Puasa, Labour Day and National Day.

Merlion Park
The Merlion is the mythical symbol of Singapore, situated at the Merlion Park at Marina Bay. The statue is a creature that is a cross between a fish and a lion, spouting water out from the mouth into the river. This famous imaginary beast attracts over a million visitors per year. The park itself has a nice setting with terraced seating offering great views of Singapore’s city skyline and landmarks as well as scenic waterfront. Nearby there are lots of shops selling souvenirs, especially of Merlion icons such as refrigerator magnets, T-shirts, key chains and photo frames.

Old Parliament House
This well-run art house and heritage centre was built in 1827 and used as the Parliament House from 1965 to 1999. The famous former prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew had his office inside. Nowadays it houses many art exhibitions, dances, films and concerts.
One of the most recognizable statues in Singapore is the bronze elephant located at the front of the building, a gift from King Rama V of Siam (or Thailand nowadays) to show his appreciation after a visit in 1871. Also featured inside the compound, are a few dining experiences including a Thai restaurant and a wine bar.

Statues of Sir Stamford Raffles
The city-state has two statues of Sir Stamford Raffles, recognised as Singapore’s founder. Sir Raffles' dark bronze statue stands tall in front of Victoria Theatre. Its replica, made in pure white poly-marble, stands at North Boat Quay to mark the spot where he first landed on the island in 1819. Both areas are popular with locals, especially on cool evenings.
